Outta Jo: 365

A Project 365 companion to Outta Jo, Onto You.

Is it any wonder people make fun of vegetarians?

Wheat Meat? In a tub?

Ew.

(But what am I talking about? I’m going to eat it and love it.)

Did you notice I quit posting here back in January? Whoops.

Part of it was a lack of inspiration, but a bigger part of it was because I was annoyed with myself. My good camera had been broken since the fall and rather than rush off to get it fixed and/or replace it, I procrastinated. And quit taking photos almost altogether. All the while, my kiddo got bigger and more fun by the month and there I was with my crummy cell phone camera.

Boo, Jo. Boo.

The good news is, though, that my brand-spanking new camera arrives tomorrow. I am so. freaking. excited.

And will probably be back here on a regular basis so stay tuned.

A mermaid snowmaid in Park Slope. This was a nice little bit of random art among the muck of dirty city snow.

It felt a little funny going to a swim class the day after we got 15 inches of snow, but the fresh air and warm water were good for us both. Plus, Poppy gets to wear this adorable swimsuit and splash and make noise. What’s not great about that?

Snow. Snow. Snow.

Who’s ready for spring? I AM!

My cat, Sanders, peed on my childhood friend tonight. I know he’s sick but it’s still taking all I have not to kill him.

Poor, Moose.

Oh, Bears. You do disappoint us, but we still love you anyway. Chicago! Woo!

How you know you’re nursing a toddler — there are stickers involved.

Family dinner by candlelight.

My view most of the day. I don’t mind.
