Whoops.</p> <p>Part of it was a lack of inspiration, but a bigger part of it was because I was annoyed with myself. My good camera had been broken since the fall and rather than rush off to get it fixed and/or replace it, I procrastinated. And quit taking photos almost altogether. All the while, my kiddo got bigger and more fun by the month and there I was with my crummy cell phone camera.</p> <p>Boo, Jo. Boo.</p> <p>The good news is, though, that my brand-spanking new camera arrives <em>tomorrow</em>. She’s been working on molars since mid-December and it’s not been fun. Today was rather rough. She cried and wailed <em>a lot</em> — while playing, while eating, while kicking and thrashing on the floor. We did everything we could to help her out, including Tylenol, teethers, distraction, cuddles, babywearing, and plenty of nursing, but there were moments when nothing seemed to do the trick.</p> <p>Poor baby. I can’t wait until we’re done with teething. We got about 9 inches overnight, but the mayor was so paranoid about more criticism this time around that he went WAY overboard with the response.</p> <p>Waking up to snow plows scraping dry, plowed streets every half hour overnight is not so fun. But the oatmeal walnut cookies taste overwhelmingly like… butter.
